Feed Me Softly explores the psychological and social impact of a culture shaped by constant consumption, stimulation and manufactured desire, with particular attention to the world inherited by younger generations.
Through an overwhelming accumulation of familiar objects, images and cultural symbols, the work reflects on the forces that quietly participate in shaping our desires, expectations and perceptions of what a fulfilling life should look like.
Caught somewhere between attraction and suffocation, comfort and excess, Feed Me Softly leaves open the question of where influence ends and personal choice begins.
