"Feels surREAL" Nominated at the AI Film Awards
I’m thrilled to announce that Feels surREAL, my first-ever short AI film, has been nominated at the prestigious AI Film Awards! This nomination is an incredible honor, and being recognized on such a pioneering platform feels like an acknowledgment of the unique, boundary-blurring vision that lies at the core of Ennoia.
For those unfamiliar, the AI Film Awards is a global celebration of creativity and innovation where artificial intelligence meets cinema. From its inaugural edition in Cannes to its international journey through tech expos and film festivals worldwide, the Awards highlight the transformative power of AI-driven filmmaking. This year, the event joins GITEX Global in Dubai, one of the largest gatherings of technology and thought leadership worldwide, setting a spectacular stage for the Awards at La Caméra by TOTO. It’s inspiring to see how this annual event draws together visionaries from both the tech and film worlds, all exploring the uncharted possibilities AI brings to storytelling.
Feels surREAL is a deeply personal project for me, inspired by Ennoia’s philosophy of art as an interpretive and fluid experience. Through this film, I aimed to explore the surreal and often ambiguous nature of human emotions, using AI to create a dreamlike narrative that resonates with the subconscious. My vision was to let AI not just enhance the visual aesthetic, but to become a true collaborator, shaping each frame to mirror the viewer’s inner thoughts, blurring lines between perception and reality.
Being nominated in this year’s lineup at the AI Film Awards feels like a milestone, both for my journey as an artist and for what it signifies in the broader world of AI-driven creativity. I’m beyond grateful to have Feels surREAL among works that are changing the way we understand storytelling, creativity, and the potential of collaboration between human imagination and AI.
