“7S | The Mask of Sin” Named Finalist at the AI Design Awards
I’m beyond thrilled to share that my conceptual series “7S | The Mask of Sin” has been selected as a Finalist in the AI Design Awards under the Conceptual & Fine Art – Surrealism category!
Chosen from hundreds of submissions from around the world, this recognition means a great deal to me—not just as an artist, but as someone who believes deeply in the power of AI as a creative collaborator. To be among the finalists of such a visionary platform is both humbling and energizing.
“7S | The Mask of Sin” is a personal exploration of the Seven Deadly Sins, reimagined through surreal, fragmented masks that gradually consume the faces behind them. Each mask is not just worn—it grows, overtakes, distorts. The series uses a hyperrealistic portrait style to preserve the human presence, while the surreal elements push each image beyond the surface, making the invisible weight of sin visible.
Through this series, I wanted to bridge ancient moral concepts with the pressures of modern life:
Gluttony – a reflection of overconsumption in a world drowning in waste
Greed – the insatiable pursuit of power and wealth
Sloth – apathy and numbing in an overstimulated society
Wrath – hostility amplified through digital platforms
Envy – fueled by social comparison and curated perfection
Lust – the commodification of desire and intimacy
Pride – the obsession with self-image and digital validation
To see “7S | The Mask of Sin” recognized at this level reinforces my commitment to blending fine art, emotional depth, and the emerging language of AI. This project, like most of my work under Ennoia, is about transformation—how we wear our inner worlds, and how technology can help us reflect on them more honestly, more hauntingly, and more beautifully.
